What You Will Find on the Blog by RD

This blog is where RD Boutique shares what we know about shoe care. We are a distributor of Angelus Brand products — we buy from Angelus and sell directly to you at retail pricing — and every guide here comes from the same questions we answer for customers every day.

How-To Guides

Step-by-step posts on preparing leather, vinyl, and suede, applying paint and dye, and sealing your work with Acrylic Finisher and 4-Coat so it lasts. Starting a new project? The prep guides come first, because surface prep is what makes or breaks a paint job. When the paint is on, protect it with the Finisher and 4-Coat guides.

Product Explainers

Short, practical breakdowns of what each product actually does: what 2-Thin is for, when to reach for Duller instead of Matte Finisher, and how Glitterlites behave differently from regular Angelus paint. No jargon, no guesswork.

Straight Answers to Common Questions

Order and shipping questions get clear answers too — like how long shipping takes and whether you can return used product. The same answers our support team gives on the phone, written down so you can find them any time.

Where to Start

New to Angelus? Begin with prep, then follow your project: leather dye for restoring color, cleaners for keeping finished work fresh. Every category is organized by product line, so you can jump straight to what is in your hands right now.
